The Opportunity
They are looking for an Account Director to join their team. You will be responsible for media solutions, responding to client briefs, delivering best-in-class account management, ensuring delivery meets client expectations, and compliance with their finance and accounting processes. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring their media and partnership solutions hit the mark and meet (and at times exceed) client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relations: Lead and manage client relationships, ensuring trust and satisfaction while overseeing multi-million dollar projects globally. Provide strategic guidance as a trusted business partner, driving contracts, and streamlining onboarding across legal, leadership, and new clients.
- Strategy: Oversee global media strategy, campaign management, account management, and revenue analysis.
- Campaign Management: Setup ad campaigns, optimise and deliver post-campaign analysis and recommendations.
- Revenue Growth: Drive programmatic revenue and explore new revenue streams in collaboration with sales, product, and marketing leadership. Constantly identifying upsell opportunities with retained clients.
- Collaboration & Innovation: Partner with sales leadership to develop competitive offerings, manage media planning, and drive the creation of new media products.
- Team Development: Support and mentor the account management team, ensuring opportunities for growth and learning.
- Brand Strategy: Own all commercial decks and templates and include research, creative, and brand-building ideas for campaigns.
- Social Activation: Review copy, set up paid social campaigns, and provide beneficial social analysis.
- Tactical: Manage and review the commercial pipeline, supporting sales in tracking revenue streams.
- Strategic: Present industry trends and support sales in material development to take to market.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience: 8+ years in the media industry, with a proven revenue growth and account management track record.
- Skills: Strong prioritisation, commercial strategy, negotiation, communication, deck ideation, creation, and presentation abilities. Solid written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Expertise: Senior-level experience in media and branded content, with a hands-on approach and passion for business.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage systems, and excel in high-energy, results-driven environments.
- Integrity: Strong personal integrity, business ethics, and experience in team management and coaching.
- Who You Are: A self-starter who can work independently yet be part of a focused team. Able to build and maintain systems, create processes internally, and document for understanding, easy learning, and onboarding.
